Don't Go to Chaos Island

 

In this tale, Kaptain Kidd and his dragon siblings decide to sail on the “Happy Trail,” which represents a state of harmony and love. But Barker the drog (a dragon dog) acts wild and out of control, causing their “Dragon Wagon” to veer off-course and hit the bank of Chaos Island. After a wacky experience with a “Dwitch,” they figure out that forgiveness and getting along with each other will get them back on the Happy Trail. This story gives parents and children an opportunity to discuss what it looks like and feels like to be out of control. Helping children recognize when they aren’t on their Happy Trail is the first step toward helping them gain more self-control.
